Kaccee
Johnson

Hi! I’m Kaccee. My husband, son and I moved to the area 7 years ago and have loved living in this beautiful valley. I’m an avid reader and most Saturday mornings you can find me snuggled on the couch with my 2 dogs and a book. I also love to spend time outside paddle boarding, camping and hiking with my family as well as snowboarding once the weather gets nice. 😉

I’m a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and an ACE certified personal trainer. I started practicing yoga 8 years ago as a way to reduce tension in my body and to balance out the effects of the high intensity exercise that I was doing. I kept coming back to it and noticed improvements not only in my physical abilities and flexibility but also in my mindset, stress levels and overall sense of well being. One of my favorite quotes is from Sakyong Mipham “The body benefits from movement, and the mind benefits from stillness.” Yoga can be a way to relieve not only the physical blocks and tension but also some of the internal ones too so that we can feel more present and at ease.

In early 2020, I completed yoga teacher training at The Front Yoga Loft in Ogden. I love sharing yoga and hope to help anyone I have the privilege to teach find a little more connection, peace and strength within their own body and mind. My style is usually mindful flows with a focus on breath and awareness, offering modifications and alternatives where possible so that students may learn to find what feels and works best for them.
